Original Pin.
And this is how they turned out. They were an absolute PAIN IN THE ASS!
I ended up covered in melted chocolate!
30 Day Challenge!
So, I figured.. If I'm using Pinterest, for crafts, dinners, cleaning... why not use it for health?
I got on Pin yesterday and searched for 30 day challenge. Frankly, most of them would put me in the hospital by day 2. So i searched 30 day BEGINNER fitness challenge. These are the two I picked to do ...
So wish me luck!

Super Saturday!! (Corned Beef & Shower Cleaning)
So I decided to make my corned beef before it went bad. (thank god they're pickled or whatever... it was in my fridge FOREVER!)
This is the recipe that I used...
Of course as always.. I changed it! I didn't use the honey, with a 2 year old and a 1 year old I'm very wary about feeding them honey, even after its been cooked. I don't know what caraway seeds are so I didn't even put them in. Not a fan of cloves, so I didn't use them.. I guess it's easier to just give my recipe. :)
What I used :
2.68lb Corned Beef
1 Med Onion (Chunked)
1/4 cup of Apple Cider Vinegar + another big splash!
1/2 cup of brown sugar
2 tablespoons of Tastefully Simple Bold & Bossy Honey Mustard
Ground Pepper corns
1/2 small head of cabbage (wedged)
And 12 ounces of Budweiser
I followed the directions like anyone with ADHD.. Basically did what I wanted Lol.. I turned the crock pot on.. put the vinegar, sugar, and mustard together and stirred. Its amazing how the vinegar just completely broke down the sugar.. I stirred until everything was dissolved and then transferred it into a measuring cup and then followed the directions as instructed :)
And this is how it turned out. Didn't like the cabbage that much.. but the corned beef was great! Ate half of it by myself!!
I'll definitely be making it again! Even though my hubby won't eat it!
So while the corned beef was a cooking.. I figured I'd tackle the shower...
Now I have tried every cleaner under the sun for my shower.. This is what my shower looks like... CONSTANTLY..
Bleach doesn't work, comet, ajax, purple power, kaboom.. NOTHING.
So this is what i used... Here's the original link
I bought my bottle from family dollar and it was only 14 oz.. So I used 7 oz of vinegar
And clearly my tub was BAD! So i used 7 ounces of Dawn Power Clean...
I didn't read until after that you're supposed to heat the dawn. So I didn't do that. I just shook until it blended together...
Before :
During:
After:
Now mind you! I was tired at this point.. so I just took a magic eraser and WIPED everything off! This was the easiest clean ever! Worked better then any cleaner I've ever used.. Looks like I have a new Saturday cleaning routine!

Super Easy Cinnamon & Sugar Apple Chips
So after cleaning the basement and finding a ton of crafting stuff of my daughters... I decided I wanted to make something with her.
We did a ton of cleaning and I was pretty beat. I remember seeing a recipe for Apple chips.
I switched up the recipe a llittle bit. I used regular red apples we had in the fruit bowl, some dark brown sugar, and ground cinnamon.
I preheated the oven to 200° and then peeled the apples. I found a big bowl and Lauren got to pick out her spatula and spoon to mix with.
I threw the apples in her big bowl sprinkled the sugar and cinnamon and let have her way..
Of course she ate a quarter of the apples before we even got to put them in the oven.
Apparently they're gonna be a hit, because my husband came in and started eating them! He also told me I'm going to have to make these every time we buy apples now too!
I cooked them for an hour and then flipped them over and cooked them for another hour.
I found it easier to slice them while standing the apple up (basically from right to left) instead of putting the apple on its side and starting from bottom to top. So mine didn't have the petty stars. .
When they came out the thicker ones where a little chewy still. Next time I think ill use a dehydrator or try 250°. But kids loves them and so did the hubby. And an added side effect, my house smells wonderful!
